Saving the life of one child or adult is priceless. National statistics show that over 80% of the drownings that occur each year are for people not wearing life vests. This number is even higher for lower income families who can’t even afford a life jacket.

The IOBG Nautical Safety Foundation is focused on making sure loaner life vests are available for anyone who is participating in water activities like motor boating, kayaking, canoeing or swimming.

It takes about $4,000 a year to supply life jackets each year to organizations focused on water safety in our area.

We need your financial help to continue our efforts. $100 supplies 10 life jackets. Any amount helps.
